Best Comparo yet... and the accents are cool

Agreed, great review. Just reinforces my choice also, the LC. Of course would love to have the G-Wagen, but the initial and ongoing cost is out of my budget. No mention, but in my opinion the LC would be the clear winner in reliability.

I love these honest reviews while having fun. I agree with their conclusion also. I would have rated those exactly the same order

Great, fun review. I wish just one of these YouTubers would crawl underneath afterwards and assess the underside scrapes, see where they were, what they did, etc.

One can protect the underside based on anticipated use. Toyota now offers a rear differential skid plate, and there are a lot of great products appearing on the aftermarket.

I have FE skid plates, and the rear diff plate cannot yet be ordered anywhere, probably reserved for port usage. Even the YouTuber who hyperbolically put "DAMAGED!" in his title didn't show it. Pet peeve, admittedly, but it sure would be helpful to see where it is most often contacting. I've seen some images of '24 Tacoma rear shock mounts that look mangled.

As one with countless off-roading miles under my belt, one becomes skilled at visualizing where the rear shocks are in relation to obstacles. Reminiscing, WAY back drove VW Beetles commuting daily over an unimproved "road", and had to weld deflection plates onto the rear shock hangars.
