So until this week the only issue I’ve had with CarPlay is it losing connection when I drive through certain areas of town…I’m assuming it’s some kind of Bluetooth interference.

BUT this week, my steering wheel buttons, specifically to change tracks have decided to stop working. The volume works intermittently but the volume indicator on the screen doesn’t appear.

Anyone else?

No, but I had a great deal of gremlins up until the iOS 18.4 or whatever this latest edition was, came out a few days ago I think? Maybe middle of last week. I lost all onscreen buttons on maps and Spotify, it was very weird things, but so far so good since the update.

My personal steering wheel volume problem was solved by using the actual volume knob on the dash to turn it back up........ LOL I had accidentally used the knob and turned it all the way down while working. After a lot of cussing and getting steaming mad, I twisted the volume knob and the steering wheel button started working again......... magic, I tell ya..........LOL

Just requested that update so we will see if that helps

I have lost my steering wheel controls twice now. Ended up shutting off the stereo and restarting it to get everything working again. No idea why it happened.

My most recent gremlin is the black screen of death on the display. I start CarPlay and the screen just goes black. But, if I'm not using CarPlay, then the screen functions normally. Dear Toyota - it shouldn't be this freaking hard. 🤬
