2025 4Runner Build & Price is now online

I’d rather buy a $500k house in a neighbor full of $500k houses and above verses buying a $500k house in a neighborhood full of $350k houses and below.
I have to agree with you. Which I hadn’t thought about that analogy as it applies to cars until you mentioned it. Yet when it came to my own house purchase, this is exactly what I did. Buy the cheapest house in the neighborhood vs. the most expensive one in another. Yet until now I’d not thought of cars that way, but very apt in this situation. Thanks!

So if I did this right, a Platinum 4R is $65K USD. A LC premium is $70K. This is the debate I’m having in the premium end of the market. They’re largely the same/similar in price, so effectively removes price from the equation. Then which to go for? If there truly is 5” more headroom in the LC, if those stats are accurate, there’s no question I’d need the LC as I wouldn’t fit in the 4R if headroom is truly 5” shorter.
I believe the Platinum trim also does not have the two speed transfer case with rear locker, MTS system, and detachable sway bar. So more of a luxury package with AWD theme but includes a lockable center differential. The LC has both the part time and full time 4WD capabiliies with all the off road goodies.
