Has anyone thought about making a complaint about the brakes with the NHTSA? Could the brakes become a safety issue? Do we know enough about the problem to determine if it will become a safety problem? https://www.nhtsa.gov/report-a-safety-problem#index

I saw a heritage blue turning into the local Starbucks - am I a stalker or did I just suddenly want a mocha?? He never even noticed! (Eagle River AK).

I tried turning off the auto parking brake. This did not mitigate the issue for me. Still squeaks.

My LC brakes squeal like crazy. Only in reverse. I park in the garage. I have over 2000 miles on the car. Worse after a wash. Happens at the first drive of the day…. And the second, and third…. It’s not picky. I will turn off the auto parking brake and see if that helps. And other tips?

Love it! A joy to drive! 2000+ miles so far.

Removed with no impact to paint. Used hairdryer, dental floss, patience.
