I will take all these responses to mean there is likely something more wrong with my LC. I’m at 3K+ miles and mine squeak all day long - no matter where I’ve parked (garage or outdoors) and how many miles I’ve driven that day. I’ll be taking it in ASAP.

My brand-new LC squeaks, not just on first roll out, but almost EVERY time it’s in reverse. If you’ve missed the threads on how different the braking is on the new LC (which could cause some of us new to a hybrid to question the connection), go and check them out. My question was about this...

I saw a heritage blue turning into the local Starbucks - am I a stalker or did I just suddenly want a mocha?? He never even noticed! (Eagle River AK).

I tried turning off the auto parking brake. This did not mitigate the issue for me. Still squeaks.

My LC brakes squeal like crazy. Only in reverse. I park in the garage. I have over 2000 miles on the car. Worse after a wash. Happens at the first drive of the day…. And the second, and third…. It’s not picky. I will turn off the auto parking brake and see if that helps. And other tips?

Removed with no impact to paint. Used hairdryer, dental floss, patience.
