Can’t believe that a Jetour T2 ia 100k cheaper, has more features and works better than a Toyota.

Folks…the update is that there is no update!!!
I have registered an official complaint by calling the Call Center complaining that I have been supplied with a defective car as it is not functioning and operating as sold.
This was done yesterday and they are supposed to get back in 2 days. So...
I have to say that my problem is not with the customer service in Dubai but with Toyota itself for not acknowledging the issue officially.
I have been liaising with the customer services in Dubai who have been doing their best with the information that they are being provided with by Toyota

have to say it’s puzzling:
1) before anyone says it about the ac vents, it clearly isn’t as it system works well on Japanese and Australian specs
2) mics: again I don’t think that this is the case
3) network issues: not quite sure why this would be...
UPDATE:
Toyota sent a team to assess situation. I made a call from my car and they heard for themselves. They have collected data about the problem.
They have now gone to Kuwait where they have a similar problem.
It appears that this is a problem affecting all cars in Middle East and Europe...
My LC250 GCC specs same with reverse camera.
Anyone know if and how to fit dash cam.
I had one that was supplied by lighter plug but don’t have one of these in the front of my car (one in rear) and I am keen to avoid lots of wires

Unfortunately apart of reporting it, there is not much else to do apart of waiting for feedback from Toyota.
I initially took it to dealer and after trying the connection on my iPhone, they tried it on their Samsung and had same problem. They took a recording of the sound quality f a phone call...

I am keeping my contacts in Dubai informed so that they are aware that the issue is affecting several cars and is not an isolated incidence.

So we have a total of 4 new cars and the 2 demo cars so far plus one in Jamaica and another in Costa Rica that I’m aware of!

Got called by the garage 2 days ago. Apparently Japan was informed of similar issue in another country.
Anyway was told that a software update was sent. Went for the update but no change. They took another recording of the sound at different speeds.
