    Wheel Visualizer

Anyone have a good site for a wheel visualizer for the new LC? Most sites I've seen don't have the 2024 Land Cruiser on the visualizer yet.

Transmission issues - Now needs replacement

Annie, you might find this interesting. Sound similar?

    No roof rack.

What are you comparing to? The roof rack on the FE, or the roof rails on the standard trim?

    No roof rack.

Thanks for the info! I've had my deposit in at an out of city dealer since the very beginning, thinking I'd side-step the long waiting lists, but unfortunately didn't account for the drastically fewer deliveries they'd receive. Found the exact one I'd been waiting for at a dealer in Edmonton...

    No roof rack.

Agree. I like the roof rails on the LC trim, but I’m not a fan of the ones like on the FE. Too much wind noise. And those big tubular roof cages make zero sense IMO, unless you’re really hauling a lot of stuff a lot of the time.

I feel your pain. I'm also with a small dealer and have not gotten mine from them. HOWEVER, I found the exact one I'd been waiting for (mid trim, non-premium, Meteor/Brown Sugar) at another dealer 3 hours away. It's a 2025, at MSRP. Just signed the offer to purchase tonight, and should see...

Transmission issues - Now needs replacement

That's unfortunate. Really hope this works out for you. I literally just signed a sales order tonight on one FINALLY - 14 months after my deposit was paid. Supposed to arrive the week of Xmas. 🤞

    When will LC250 arrive Canada

I think it's pretty much a Canada wide thing. I'm seeing a few LC's in Calgary, but most are 58's. Seems Canada always gets the short end of the stick with this sort of thing.

    When will LC250 arrive Canada

Seriously?? I'm looking for non-premium in Brown Sugar, but probably would have taken a premium. Yah, the wait is painful, but I'm hoping the 2025's are a bit more bug free. My deposit was also paid 15 months ago. You're not near Cranbrook by chance? I think they had that Brown Sugar, but...

    When will LC250 arrive Canada

Yeah, I could have had a '58 3 months ago. Drove it, but I passed. Nicer than expected, but still not what I'm looking for.

    When will LC250 arrive Canada

Looks great! Is that yours? If mine ever shows up, I also plan to wrap the top in black. My dealer can see 3 months out for allocations and they STILL don't see mine - they only see a couple 1958's.

It all boils down to range anxiety.

You'll get used to it, and will eventually be thankful for the heads up. My Tundra can run for about 65 km (40 miles) after the low fuel indicator comes on and it says 0 km remaining, and will still have over a gallon of gas left when I fill up. On the other hand, we had an Audi (or maybe it...

    Winterize Land Cruiser

The problem up here in Alberta (I live an hour from Banff) is not the snow, it's the ice and the cold. Winter temps around Xmas time can be easily in the minus 20's or 30's C (-4 to -22 F). All season compounds get very hard and lose most of their braking and turning performance. You actually...

2024 never listed running boards either, but has them.

So I guess I'm not alone. Frustrating AF, but maybe we'll get models with the bugs worked out.

How are you Closing your Hood?

Yep, my Tundra's hood gets opened by me to fill washer fluid, and again by the oil change guys (usually around 6 or 7 thousand km late of the recommended interval). I also get the cheapest non-synthetic oil every time. Consequences? I now have 600,000 km (370,000 miles) on that truck and it...

    First offroad, el. 13,124’ [Summit County, CO] - Compare/Contrast 5th Gen 4Runner

That lack of engine braking is disappointing to hear and will likely not go away, unfortunately. My wife has a 2 litre, 4 cyl. turbo Audi Allroad with paddle shifters. Shifting down is almost imperceptible in terms of engine braking going downhill or into a corner. If not for the tach, you'd...

    When will LC250 arrive Canada

It drives really nice. I was surprised. You will have zero problem getting it in to a 7' garage door - my Tundra with a 3" lift and big tires fits in my garage (height-wise to change the tires, anyway).

    When will LC250 arrive Canada

I hope some are headed to my dealer, however I spoke to another dealer who said they have an unspoken for black one coming in November. If they know what's 2 months out already, I'm assuming mine is further out than that.

Interesting. That's more or less is what I'm seeing too. 1958's came in, then some other trims, but not much in the last few weeks.

    When will LC250 arrive Canada

Anyone on here received a recent LC? Last post was a few weeks ago. I'm still waiting, and dealer has no updates. I've talked to a few other dealers, and unless they're 1958's, most of what they have on their websites are either already spoken for, or are marked up above MSRP. I won't pay...

    What’s your name mean?

My daughter was involved in alpine ski racing. We ate, slept, and breathed it for a decade and a half. Lived for it. She was really good - internationally ranked. I'm her dad, and I needed a handle for our Playstation. Been using it ever since.
