It appears you looked at the Luxury+ trim. Definitely a street queen, defined by the 22" wheels. However, will give Lexus credit, as they offer the Overtrail trims, when Toyota conspicuously omitted, presumably as not to impact the forthcoming new 4Runner offerings for serious off-roading.

If made of steel, they will rust. Just take for example the treated/painted Toyota frames. Thankfully, it appears the insides of the frames are now treated with more corrosion protection.

I am attempting to look on the bright side, i.e. ours may end up being a 2025, with most bugs worked out, and heck, they might even offer the power running boards we need, plus decent off-roading tires.

In the same boat, albeit not black. Not sure if to blame the dealer or, Toyota, i.e. special orders are a thing of the past. I think a combination of both. And yes, I see them cropping up on dealer lots, even FE's, but too distant.

Hey, basic internal combustion physics. The fuel/air ratio, as I recall, must be in the 14.5-15 arena. No magic carburetor (or injection system) exists, or could exist.

Welcome to the forum! Great photo of a great machine! Many of us can relate to the repair history of the Jeep brand, now owned by Stellantis. Hope our LC shows up with 18" wheels/tires as shown. So many purchasers are forced to the not so offroad suited 20".

Welcome aboard! You are SO lucky to find a LC on the lot of your liking. I think you will be happier with the LC/LC versus 1958, especially as a daily driver. Enjoy, and share your adventures...

Yes, we owned a 2005 4Runner Limited, and matching tire and rim, even a tire pressure sensor in the spare. Good to see the new LC went 1st Class!

Thank you! What prompted the question was just viewing a 2025 4Runner video, and it distinctly had a temporary use spare tire. Cannot say if this is across the entire model line, as the trim filmed was a Limited, more-or-less a pavement machine.

I apologize if this has been covered, but a search did not reveal anything. Does the LC come with a full-capability FULL-sized spare? That is, not a temporary minimum-tread "full-sized" spare as it seems the 2025 4Runner has.

Presuming you are aware the Overtrail went skimpy on the HVAC? No rear controls, or roof vents. Most likely had to meet a price point. Hopefully the capacity of the unit was not also trimmed.
