Hello my name is James and I live in Plainfield, Illinois. I worked in Law enforcement for 34 years. I'm retired but I am currently a contractor setting up home monitoring systems for a private company. I purchased a 2024 Land Cruiser 1958. Previously I owned a 2018 4 Runner. It was a great SUV. I like that it was really basic and simple but very reliable. Unfortunately, I travel a lot for work and the 4 Runner had a love affair with fuel stations, so I parted with it and bought the 1958. This is the first vehicle I've bought in some time without leather seats. I like that the seats are heated and the car is still pretty basic but much better with gas and actually a much quicker response than my 4 Runner. I also own a 2008 Porsche Cayman S with 25,000 miles. It's a Sunday driver. I'm looking forward to learning and sharing ideas.

Hey James, Jim (James) here. Congrats on your purchase! Hope the LC supasses the 4Runner substantially in regard to fuel economy. Possibly 5 MPG better, or a tad more? However, the LC wants premium fuel, so not sure how much far ahead you will be in the final analysis as far as fuel cost. Keep us posted...
