Only the left one can be used to connect to the media system (ie carplay). The other two are for charging only.
I believe they are all the same wattage.
I’ve noticed the same thing. AC is obviously running when I haven’t explicitly turned on AC.
For now while it’s still “AC weather” I’ve considered this to be a feature, not a bug. But as the weather starts to cool off I’ll have to figure out what’s going on and how to actually control the AC...
Do a web search for the part number and you’ll find plenty of online parts dealers with varying discounts and shipping rates.
I ended up getting both skids for $585 including shipping.
I haven't done kayak yet, but for paddleboards it's not bad getting up there, although maybe it would be for someone particularly short.
I imagine you could do the same with a kayak with some crossbar padding. Canoe might be a bit more of a beast however!
There is no mystery here. The new 4Runners are only available with 4cyl turbos. Some trims will have hybrids, some won't. Exact same as the new Tacomas. The non-hybrid lower end models need to fit in a lower price range to continue to be a large volume seller.
If you want a bigger engine...
The skid plates on there are in three pieces - two of them are thin metal and one is plastic. They also do not go very far back.
The upgraded skids are made from thicker steel, provide additional coverage and go quite a bit further back to the 3rd frame cross member.
That is correct, if you want the full upgraded skid, you want both of those parts. Those are the correct part numbers and they are available from many online parts dealers at a reasonable discount. I believe you could do only the front skid if you wanted, but I'm not sure there is any good...
From earlier in this thread - a perfect fit:
https://www.landcruiserforum.com/threads/oil-and-filter-change-easy-peasy.649/post-26106
I used a regular old plier style filter wrench and it worked perfectly fine.
Back in the day when i had a Prius (non plugin) I always tried to make it all the way home from the gas station on EV mode only so I could enjoy that sweet 99.9 MPG tank average.
Anyhoo, plenty of chat in this thread about some secret fuel economy hacks that BIG OIL doesn't want you to know...
I’ve also wondered about the AC obviously running when not turned on explicitly. Not on auto mode either. (LC trim, no premium, no cool box)
For now I’ve kinda liked it, but curious how it will operate when the outside temperatures are already cold.
So far I’ve seen in the wild (excluding dealership sightings, and excluding my own Heritage Blue of course):
1 Meteor Shower
1 Heritage Blue
2 Trail Dust (passed by two of them on the same street one day, which was kinda wild)
1 white GX550
Coincidentally I was offered 4 different meteor shower LCs back in May/June while I waited for Blue. Seems like the tables have turned, we’re all driving Blue Cruisers now!
I have the same Thule rack and have absolutely loved it for the past few years as a two bike rack.
My oldest kid moved up to a 20” bike this year however, so it was time to expand to 3/4 bikes on the rack.
I tried the +2 bike extender on the Thule but it resulted in the most massive heavy...
I ended up ordering the EZFlate Mesa + hyperflex hose. That hose is absolutely overkill for my uses, but yolo! let's have some fun! There was a 10% off code on some dude's youtube video that worked (I don't remember the code or the video, sorry!)
