I have had multiple cars ranging from zero to full PPF and here is my opinion.
I would not bother with PPF on any car priced under $100K, unless it is somehow special or limited.
Consider any costs paid for PPF for your own personal enjoyment while you own the car. When you go to sell (whether...
FYI, if anyone is in Denver. Groove Toyota has the Westcott lift kits in stock, and has near immediate availability to install. I had my install set up for Tuesday of this week before I decided not to take delivery of the LC.
Get in touch with Seth Tenneson in service if you're interested.
Totally! The LC is definitely going to go some places other cars won't.
But when it comes to snow I can honestly say the Macan with a set of snow tires is simply fantastic! The way it distributes power coupled with the air suspension (which allows you raise up a few inches to get over the deep...
When driving I feel like the electric motor would help get you to 20mph reasonably well, then it just kind of sat back and chilled. Maybe I was just at a strange in-between speed where it was still kind of relying on electric but only for a little bit. I definitely didn't have enough drive time...
If anyone is considering the Bronze Method 703s, I have a complete set for sale in the marketplace section.

Purchased in May from Toyota dealer, but decided yesterday I wouldn't be taking delivery of the LC I had on order.
Brand new, sealed. Never opened.
$60 shipped in the US.
I purchased these in June, but decided yesterday I wouldn't be taking delivery of the LC I had on order.
Everything is brand new, still in boxes. Opened to check contents, but never mounted.
This includes everything you will need to install on your LC (aside from tires and TPMS).
Method...
I've decided not to take delivery of my LC, but these are the parts my dealer was able to find this week for the delete kit.
12 x 90119-08D28 (Bolt, w/ Washer)
6 x 63185-42020 (Bracket, Roof Rack)
6 x 75596-60040 (Cover, Roof Drip Sid)
Note: He couldn't say with 100% certainty this is correct...
I placed a deposit on an LC last fall when it was announced. I thought the truck looked amazing and was interested in seeing what it could do.
I am coming from a ~15yr stretch of German cars, currently with a Porsche Macan Turbo and BMW M4 Comp. My underlying concern with the LC was that it was...
Ironically, my local Toyota dealer has a shipment of Westcott lifts coming in this week that haven't yet been spoken for. They've reserved one for me and I'm dropping the truck off for the install next week (they're mounting wheels/tires for me as well). $1500 installed w/ alignment (not...
My truck showed up at the dealer today, and Westcott is still saying 2-3 weeks on the lift kit (which is what they told me 2-3 weeks ago).
Last week they told me 1200 orders had already shipped, but mine was not part of this. I ordered the same day the page went up on their site and I find it...
It’s usually $50-75 per wheel to get them coated at a detailer.
If the wheels are new and not mounted it’s a pretty easy DIY. Just pick up a bottle of Gyeon Rim EVO off Amazon. A single bottle will be enough to do 2 sets.
If the tires are already mounted you just want to make sure the wheels...
Love the TE37s! 😍
In most cases a zero offset wheel would be pretty aggressive, but paired with a 275 tire it seems to work well. If you were to throw something like a 35 x 12.5 tire on there it would have another inch or so of poke. Just something to consider for those weighing wheel options.
Ok nice! I personally like the KO2s a little better since they are 8lbs lighter and have a higher speed rating.
Not that a speed rating is needed, but I like think they will have better overall on-road manners.
With stock tires you are probably looking at the 20" combo being 6-7lbs heavier.
Adding E load tires into the mix throws off the comparison as these are substantially heavier than C load (6 ply vs 10 ply), but I realize the tire options for 18s aren't great.
I know firsthand shaving ~10lbs of...
Looks great! Which brand did you go with?
I usually use Formula One Pinnacle on all my cars. Stratos has better heat rejection but it has more of a blue tint which I don't really like.
Sold on 6/29 for $78,000 (effectively $81,900 after BaT fees).
This result, along with the previous one on BaT seems to suggest there is strong demand for the LC, but it is not something you should try and flip.
I noticed that, but if you zoom in on the tire sidewall it does appear to say 75 and not 70, but not definitive.
The load range is a little easier to read, and appears to be 129/126 which would match up with the 75 size. It definitely doesn't look like 127/124 which would be the 70.
