I have finally received my allocation of my LC Premium.
I am trading in my '22 4R Limited.
Curious on the thoughts of those who have traded their 4Runners in for the LC.
I have enjoyed my 4R Limited, however, it does get quite unstable on the highway/interstate and you really have to drive...
Depending on your color choice, you'll get one before 3 - 6 months. I just wasted too much time with a dealer who isn't getting any allotments. I'm seeing a lot of black LC Premium trims popping up now.
I have a black LC coming as well. I am going back and forth on the moldings. I presume they can be removed as they are attached via double stick tape as I understand.
I was dropping a friend off at the Lexus dealer yesterday and they had a GX in slate gray on the showroom floor.
I had a chance to look it over closely. It had the auto retractable running boards and 22” wheels. It was well equipped.
After looking at it, it is a decently attractive SUV...
Absolutely. They are a vey niche vehicle with a high price tag. LC has always been rare and it appears they will remain that way.
Which is why I am buying one.
I've had a few 2 door Wranglers over the years. The Jeep wave is real and very much a big thing. You'll also find a rubber duck on your door handle from time to time. Another Wrangler thing.
I have waived once in a while in my 4Runner and I usually get flipped off.
Porsche 911 has a subtle...
I literally saw my first LC in Omaha yesterday afternoon. First one to date. I did see one GX a month or so ago parked at my golf course; so I could look it over a bit.
Definitely prefer the LC to GX both outside and inside.
The LC really looks sharp and imposing on the road.
Are people...
I literally just got off the phone with a dealer in Chicago. They have a number of LC's all over the Chicago area. Lots and lots of '24s. He foresees the '25s not coming until January.
Curious if anyone is aware of when the '25's will be incoming.
Looks like '24 inventory has stabilized and allocations of '24's has slowed.
Presumably Toyota has switched to '25's. Any word on minor changes/color changes?
The only dealer that I've talked with and visit frequently is in Lake Okoboji, IA. They admit to being the smallest dealer in the country....as they are in a town of 10,000 lake people and have on avg 12 Toyotas on their lot. Awesome dealer by the way.
I believe every dealer in every city across the nation claims to be the biggest dealer. I'm beginning to believe car dealers have a tendency to tell a fib or two.
I've been No. 2 on "the list" at Des Moines Toyota since late May. They claim to be the largest dealer in the world, however, have yet to even receive a white one apparently.
I am tempted to switch my deposit to another dealer or just hit the pavement and just accept the fact I'll have to fly...
I am still patiently waiting for my black LC.
Dealers keep claiming there are no allocations and no inventory.
What are people finding in reality? I see a lot of them on Autotrader, etc.
