I dont think cylinder deactivation is part of eco mode on the LC like the Hemi or other legacy platforms. Eco mode in an LC reduces draw on the HVAC system and shuts down motor more frequently and probably changes shift points in tranny. I have read articles stating cylinder deactivation...
its a tough one. I think both are great tires. I went with AT3's as the FWP's are heavy tires compared to most other AT's. Im adverse to KO3's now after reading that thread... LOL
We will see. Still no squealing. Even when cold. I really think pulling my trailer was a factor. Plus I talked to my pads and asked them to quiet down.
Maybe toyota will update sofware to improve the towing interface in the screen set up like the US automakers. Ive never owned such a complicated towing vehicle like this .... not intuitive at all
not sure whats up, but my brakes haven't squealed in a while now. I have 3500 miles on it. I did tow my 4K lb trailer recently and maybe I worked the brakes in pretty hard which resolved it. I dont know.... weird
The bed solution was easy. I ordered a 4" dense pad off Amazon and cut it to fit the rear with back seats folded down. I think a lot of people are doing same thing. It just makes the area level with the rear seats. EZPZ
Hey Mark and So Cal people. In Ventura County with a 1958. Have Westcott lift, 285 70 18's Toyo AT3's (33.74") and have done the Mojave trail. I did the trail in a jeep and will do again in the LC now, probably in the spring. I have a bed platform in back and always keep my overlanding gear...
