Thanks again to the Admins for setting up these regional group forums. Calling all SoCal Land Cruiser fans!

I'm Mark from the Pasadena area of Southern California. My ride is Blue Steel. I've added a Roam Rugged Case to the OEM FE roof rack (details of installation elsewhere on this site). I put Anderson connectors on the battery to make it easy to hook up to my MORRflate compressor so I can air down and up my BFG KO3's (LT285/65/R18). I just did a portion of the Mojave Road and am loving this beast of an off-road vehicle.

I hope we all have the chance to meet and share some adventures!

Any lift kit or leveling kit needed to fit those tires? looking to get the K03's this week or next

Hey Mark and So Cal people. In Ventura County with a 1958. Have Westcott lift, 285 70 18's Toyo AT3's (33.74") and have done the Mojave trail. I did the trail in a jeep and will do again in the LC now, probably in the spring. I have a bed platform in back and always keep my overlanding gear in a go bag with all my SAR gear including a dual head compressor set up. Welcome.

Hello Trek 805!
Nice build out for your 1958 Edition. I'm also looking forward to doing most of the Mojave road in the Spring. What was your solution for a bed platform?

I got to use my dual compressor system in a rescue for my friend's car on the way to Coyote Buttes last week. He picked up a nail and his $25 compressor overheated before it could deliver 4 lbs of pressure to the tire. He was able to get back to a service station and after a quick repair of the nail puncture he was able to join us on the trail. Good to be properly prepared.

Hope we get a chance to ride together...

Mark

The bed solution was easy. I ordered a 4" dense pad off Amazon and cut it to fit the rear with back seats folded down. I think a lot of people are doing same thing. It just makes the area level with the rear seats. EZPZ

I love Anza Borrego! Awesome ride!

Welcome,

I'm Braden - I have a LC, LC w/premium package. Threw some Falken Rubitreks on it + tinted everything out. I'm frequently in Kernville fishing, Mammoth fishing/snowboarding, and live in Echo Park, LA.

Heading out to Park City, UT to do some snowboarding and going through LV - for Thanksgiving!

Hola!

I'm actually at the Pasadena Turner's quite a bit. I was in Kernville this weekend fishing, grabbed 2 healthy Rainbows and ate them for dinner. It was freezing cold, so I'm probably done for the season until Crowley opens back up in April.

Also looking to hit Bluefin out on a charter trip when things thaw out. I'll be focusing on snowboarding mostly, so will be in Mammoth a TON!

Hello folks!

I'm Thuan, from Anaheim. Full disclosure: I don't do any off-roading or hit trails with the LC (my off-roading and trails adventures--Borrego, Sierras, Alabama Hills--are done on two wheels), so I'm a shameless newbie here. My LC is a 1958, and I've added some surf racks (wife is a surfer) and some wheels and this is probably it in terms of mods.

This forum has been an amazing place; have learned a ton about the LC here and have met some great folks!

'25 Heritage blue/grayscale from the 562. Picked it up last month. No mods yet, but should have 18" Bradley wheels in a few weeks.
