Are you still rolling with stock tires? Because I rarely push past 20.1 on the best of days anymore and I'm wondering about the A/T off road vs. A/T on road tire difference now.
Nope, it won't be worth more but I may be able to recoup some of the money by selling aftermarket parts after returning it to stock. It really depends on if I go past the point of no return with this truck which I am thinking not this time. I'm going to keep the LC as light as possible and put...
Depends on what your wheeling needs are. The 275/70r18 is just slightly bigger and barely effects your speedometer but I don't know how if at all it would effect your gear ratio. I'm guessing that it is negligible considering the very slight difference. There are only 2 brands Nitto and General...
I'm keeping mine because if I ever sell it in the future I can revert it to OEM stock specs. But, I'm most likely not going to do anything that is irreversible with this truck like I did with my 2010 4Runner Trail. I never got any of that money back.
Even in the stock size I lost MPG with the E Load tire. They are very heavy. I'm trying to keep SL load tires for my daily driving with a second set of wheels that may be C load at the most for my planned off road trips.
I have the same wheels with the 285/65r18 SL load AT4Ws. Same diameter as the stock 265/70r18s but I think I like how the 265/70r18s look on your truck better. Hmmm.
Yes, I don't think I'll ever be rock crawling with my new FE. If I wanted to pound on something I'd get a Wrangler or Bronco. I like that you can fit a 285/70r18 with stock suspension with a +40ish offset and have no rubbing issues. The amount of surgery required just to get 285/70r17s on my...
That'll be a tough one to find as the stock Michelin LTX Trail is only 37 lbs.
The two C load tires I found in 265/70r18 or 42 and 44 lbs.
There is a stock size 32.6" SL load Toyo Open Country A/T III that is 44 lbs...
My 2010 4Runner Trail. Drove it for 11 years and sold it to family friends son. He's been taking it everywhere and I told him the only caveat to buying my truck was he had to send me photos of his adventures from time to time. lol Great truck! Never had one issue.
So I've decided to put the 285/65r18 SL AT4Ws back on with the TRD +45 offset wheels. I thought it looked to squat at first so I put the OEM setup back on but the E load tire was a bit to stiff for my liking. I would love to have 285/70r18s but the weight is not going to work for me as I can...
