Interesting to note. The Prado with the 2.8 Liter diesel ships with an 80 liter tank to the EU (31 Gallons, same tank as GX?), but the rest of the world gets a 110 liter (29 gallon) fuel tank.
These folks say the 110 liter tank on the Prado is the same as on the Land Cruiser 300.

Consumer reports just put out a short interview on the Land Cruiser. One of the participants is head of their headlight testing. They actually asked her if Square are better than round. In her answer she mentioned that square has some additional active features she likes versus the round...
Would just like to say I’m extremely impressed with this. Thank you so much for making this for us. Fit finish our absolutely perfect. I also immediately droped mine onto the concrete and it held up just fine. Whatever it’s made out of Must be pretty stout.
An interesting benefit I have noted...
I just received the zr tactical knob and cannot find any installation instructions on the website. I did find the installation video of the guy at the dealership, but not the instructions on the website the packaging zr tactical says to use. I pulled as hard as I dared to remove the factory...
Ahh, yes you are correct! Long Range America (LRAM) is the US distributor of long-range fuel tanks from Long Range Automotive (LRA), an Australian company.
Sounds promising! Did they make any mention about it being more complex vs prior gens to swap or add auxiliary?
Pricing also looks a bit less versus Long range America
Anyone know these guys?

Looks like they are importing long range automotive tanks from Melbourne AUS. This will likely be an ideal vendor
Thanks for posting this! Very neat system. Quick reliable access looks like it would be hard to beat. I’m kind of like the others that just don’t like that visible, but it’s probably not that visible. And you could always transfer to safe under the seat when needed. Side question what happened...
Oh no, I did a quick search and didn’t see them but now looking a little closer, I did find some of them doesn’t seem like anyone has any idea what the cause is.
I'm coming up on 1,000 miles, but am still getting a significant amount of brake squeal baking down my driveway in reverse each morning. Is this normal?
All of it is about a 500% markup. Maybe not the mat and crossbars, but bottom line it’s just another gimmick to push asking price above Msrp and still falsely orally claim it’s still msrp due to the dealer/port installed junk. Ask them to write up the offer that that are selling at the msrp...
I’ve got another gripe with a common complaint many other of the reviewers seem to Ding the Land Cruiser relative to the GX. They claim that the powertrain is not as well sorted. Complaints that it can is hesitant on Transitioning between electric and gas and shifting too early. I experienced...
Yes you do have to go get stuff via the rear seat. I had something similar on my tundra, but not nearly as good. It was nice having the big console storage in the tundra. However, having some storage on the back of the seat was handy too. I’ll say this it’s way more convenient than the stupid...
It sounds like a land cruiser is not for you. You should realize that This is a global platform and 90+ percent of these are going to be sold with a diesel. That is what they are trying to replicate with the hybrid. Ultra high low end torque is the design need not highway passing power.
