Unless you're already at the top of a dealer's waiting list in your area, you're not likely going to get a chance to purchase a First Edition. My local dealer, which is the largest Toyota dealer in my state, doesn't expect to get a First Edition as part of that dealer's allocation despite having...
Having driven the new Sequoia, I can tell you that mild hybrid drivetrain provides far more low-end torque than one reasonably needs. But, it's a ponderous SUV. My hope is that the mild hybrid for the LC250 is of similar effect. Getting a fraction of the pep of the Sequoia in a more...
GX will have a hybrid option at a later date, which I (and one online source that i recently read) think will be about a year from now. Toyota's stated goal is to have a hybrid option by '25 for all vehicles, and Lexus will be a part of that initiative. I think the GX hybrid will be available...
Is there some Toyota literature you've seen that confirms Adaptive Variable Suspension will be available on at least one trim level of the upcoming Land Cruiser 250? I've seen a couple of third-party sites mention that but haven't yet located anything in which Toyota confirms that.
Thanks. Interested in knowing whether there are any suspension-related upgrades available if the Land Cruiser trim or Premium Package is selected. Also, I've seen at least 2 different outlets report that the new model comes with Adaptive Variable Suspension, which I tend to doubt as erroneous...
I'd been wondering the same thing. There are a few sites that suggest the new LC will have adaptive variable suspension (like the higher end GX550s), but I couldn't find any manufacturer literature confirming that.
The Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) on the GX550, when in "Comfort" mode, dramatically improves the ride on streets/highways. So, unless the new LC being introduced in the US has AVS, that's an advantage for the forthcoming GX550 Luxury+ and Overtrail+ trim levels.
I use my '22 GX460 as a...
I wonder if Heritage Blue and Trail Dust will only be offered on the First Edition model. The largest dealer in my state said that, given the limited number of First Editions, I certainly shouldn't anticipate being able to get a First Efition. If those 2 colors are only First Edition options...
I saw one other source some time ago that suggested that the Grayscape top might not be the sole option with Heritage and Trail Dust, but I don't know whether that was mere speculation. I haven't seen an image without that top on those 2 colors.
