I think he may be referring to the interior of the hatch, the FE has 2 white lights on the interior. I think he's asking about (in my pic) "new wire splice" is where th FE has a connection for the hatch lights.
Pro tip: When you try and place the nut under the fender lip, use a piece of painter's tape one side of a boxed end wrench, then put the nut in the wrench............ really hlps getting the bolt started.
I think (don't know) the LC/LC and 1958 come with debris covers for the front and Xmsn and they are kinda flimsy. The 1st Edition comes with a front skid plate that covers the Xmsn and a second one that covers the Xfer case.
The First Edition Skid plates are actual Skid plates. The front one on the FE, I think, replaces the front two shields on the lesser trims and it has an additional section that continues further back.
My advice .......... don't do anything for a month or so. Figure out how you are going to use your LC. Now if you just want bling that's a different story.
If you plan on doing moderate off-roading where rocks, ditches and stumps might be involved ..... add real skid plates (FE or after...
Yes, one clip on each side, vertical and one clip bottom center, horizontal. I found if you start on the upper R/H side and pry that out, then insert a "L" shaped trim tool and using a twisting motion vs a levering motion, work your way around and it'll pop right out.
I have found an LED flashlight with a magnetic base is far more useful than under-hood lights. Seems like with the permanent mounted lights, every time you need to look at something, your head creates a shadow and you end up with a flashlight anyway.
I have many of these from Harbour Freight, A++
Man sorry for your hardship. Not trying to be offensive but that isn't a skid plate, it's a debris shield only meant to keep road debris from getting in.......
Which would be absolutely wonderful............ except, I don't think people would adhere to which region the thread was posted in and just post anyway............. so the only thing that would be accomplished would be....... just another layer to wade through.
There are so many threads that...

While creating regional sub forums may seem like a good idea, but exactly what would prevent someone from the US sub-forum posting on the UK sub-forum and vice-versa? (which seems like that's what you dislike). People...
Who doesn't post about using their rig and which mod worked or didn't work so good? Could be people are just getting used to their rigs just don't like to post about it.
