I haven’t received my LC yet, but reading this, I tried to delete it from my app and it will not delete!! I hope doesn’t cause any issues when I take delivery in a few days.
Update: My dealer called today and said it will be put on a truck and should arrive within the next 10 days! I also noticed that the ETA window on Toyota’s site narrowed to 7/31-8/7!
I love car camping and use dehydrated camping meals and have run into power limitations on using electric kettles to heat the water in my Highlander, so I’m looking forward to this feature when I get my LC.
I don’t have mines yet but I put the vin into the app and this exact health notification appeared. I don’t know if this means it just needs a software update or what?
I’m seeing some discounted LC grades at Marietta GA Toyota that are in stock. But I’m waiting on the one I reserved because it has the color and everything else I wanted.
It would seem to me that since the ‘24 model became available in the spring of this year that it would stay on that cycle and come in early next year. Why would you bring in a new model when this years model hasn’t even been around a whole year?
I don’t know if this has already been posted but its a great interview to get the facts right from the person who would know. He clears up a lot of myths floating around out there about the new Land Cruiser.
Just got a text from my dealer that my LC is set to “clear customs” today. At the same time I noticed the delivery window on the Toyota site narrowed by a few days. The dealer says it will be 3-4 weeks from this point.
There are a lot of variables here including driving habits, type and size of tires, road conditions, traffic, etc. I think the biggest impacts are your driving habits and the tires. Some people are getting in low to mid 20s while others in the teens.
I would be demanding a new replacement LC from Toyota. Similar scenario happened to me with ford years ago and I ended up get them to replace the whole car. You should not have to have a new car that has been worked on, especially the engine.
I know that it landed in port on 6/29, which was confirmed by the dealer. It’s now in that murky “processing” phase before it gets on a truck. My build was after the qc hold so hopefully Toyota once they knew what the the issue was started doing new builds correctly and there are no options...
I have a stealership across the street from my place in Georgia with a 1958 sitting there for 3 weeks now because they are asking $10k markup and they refuse to let anyone test drive! A customer that was with the salesman before me cussed him out over it and left in a huff.
Ok, I just noticed on the Toyota inventory site that my LC premium is no longer in “build phase”. It now says “maybe in transit”. I see this as positive movement. On the 4th last week the dealer told me that it was awaiting customs clearance at the port. Arrival dates haven’t changed yet...
Great! I’m probably going to get an aftermarket roof rack but the pictures helped me with visualizing how it would look. I’ve seen cars with RTT that are seem too big for the car but this one seems to fit nicely on this LC.
