Huh, just tried it now and it worked. Wonder why it didnāt beforeā¦ maybe because I had the spare key in there and now I donāt. Oh well, super good to know.
Iāve done a winter in my outback. The issue is never settling in for the night (just add more or heated blankets), but rather getting up in the morning.
Itās absurd that remote start wonāt work with key in car or windows cracked. So your only options to avoid hating life in the morning are an...
You might be better off putting the Starlink on the outside on your roof rack if you have one. This would simplify the wiring. Otherwise just feed the wire out the hatch and over the top of the truck. Ezpz
Also Iām assuming at 55ā itās a smart tvā¦ just connect it wirelessly to the Starlink WiFi?
HEST on 3/4ā plywood is what Iām rolling with finally. Doesnāt need to be more complicated! Although something to neaten up the space where the little cargo compartments used to be would

For reference, I spend about 60% highway, 30% city, 10% off road, and average 23mpg between the...
The cable from the antenna fits fine just feeding into the gap between hatch and body. No creaking or squeaking in my case. Not the prettiest solution but definitely the easiest. Anyway, would love a guide on running a cable down through the hood as my Starlink will be arriving soon
Added westcott roof rack, moved OVS shelving to behind the driverās, added victory 4x4 rear molle for windows and ceiling. Also added dirt š
More to go but sheās coming along!
Itās screwed into the top hole of the handlebar. Super solid and not going anywhere. If I had better tools I could get a sharper bend angle and have less encroachment on my field of view
The āarmā part is this
