I am glad you ask this question. I have the Viair 450P as well and attaching those clips to the battery in the back seems weird. Very tight fit.
Under the hood there is a fuse box with a part that says battery terminal that I think you can use. But how? Do we clip the alligator clips...
I found the video of the guy who has installed portals on his LC and will post below. But I had never heard of portals. Now I have done some research on what portals are, and while intrigued at the idea and think it is an awesome concept, its not something I would pay for ($20k +), nor do I...
The dealer was way too insistent that I have the app. Why? Red flag to me and so I have never used it and deleted it. All I hear are complaints about that app. I say go back to basic key fob and eliminate the stress.
I think I've stumbled across the next dimension. Now I am really confused. A Portal.....$20K😢

I must say you might be the only person looking to lower their LC. I would look for new parking or if you have to do this, roof rack goes first, then maybe smaller diameter tires. I would not mess with suspension to reach your goal.
Press lock 3 times about 1 second apart, and on third time hold it...for about 3 to 5 seconds. You will see parking lights blinking quickly - this is sign your car is starting. Once you see the blinking lights you can release.
This is great feedback. Did you ever feel the need to have a little more clearance? To me I feel that is the only missing part. That an additional couple of inches could really enhance it.
I feel the same. Very surprised at the attention this vehicle is getting. I guess it should not suprise me...I did a u-turn when I first saw one, and decided moments later after realizing it was a LC that I would probably buy one.
I am terrible with understanding all these features, but I did actually figure out how to turn off the red "check the rear seat" sign every time I turned the car off. Cannot recall how I did it, but if I did it, you can too! 😂
Well if you do sell them, please keep me in mind. I am weighing the Dobinson set up vs. the Westcott for the type off-roading I am likely to do. Thanks!
I was thinking you already had a lift or leveling kit? No? I guess just larger tires?
Is there any reason you chose this unique kit rather than the Westcott or Toyo or another brand that we hear so much about?
By the way thank you for putting out some cool videos with great scenery!
I hope I...
It seems there have been 2 of these occurrences, of the fuel line disconnecting from gas tank, on this forum. To me that is significant, and something we should check and make sure ours is fastened securely.
Does anyone have a photo of what we are looking for? Where is this fuel line?
Yes I have felt for years like the Lexus with the big V8 was such a beast and really easy to drive. It is my wife's vehicle but I have loved driving it for many years. But today, after being in the Land Cruiser for the past month, it was very strange to drive it. It felt sluggish...
I noticed this happened to me yesterday - did not have a clue what was happening. I left truck running to go back inside to grab something. So I am hearing it is because something was left in the back seat? If so, I would have never figured this one out!
I had the same happen to me today - heavy rain and wind with this tropical system. And I agree, Ive had close calls with people deciding to walk behind my 4runner when I have reverse lights on, so I will take the warnings.
Yes this was unique experience. It felt like the truck was constantly tugging the wheel out of my hand to stay in center of lane I guess. A little unnerving at first but you've got to trust it.... 🤔😂
Welcome! I passed on a Land Cruiser 1 mile from my home and drove from VA to Raleigh to get mine because the dealership experience was so much better and at MSRP. Largest dealership I have ever seen. So many people shopping around and buying cars it felt like I was in Best Buy near Christmas🤣
I was driving home tonight from BJ's and had some frozen stuff in back so pressed the "REAR" button at far right of controls in attempt to turn on air conditioning in the back. Panel lights up rear a/c with temp but has parenthesis around it. The button goes green so I assume A/C for rear is...
