Thanks for being the guinea pig. Let us know how you like them. I didn't get this for my Highlander and hated getting the seatbacks dirty.
The Toyota cargo mat for my wife's RAV4 came with a seat back cover that has a corrigated section at the bottom that covers the gap when the seats are...
Ed1, I agree with your observations but not your conclusion.
I bought Weathertech liners for my Highlander to replace the more rubbery Toyota liners and never regretted it. The Weathertech liners are made from a stiffer material that holds up to well to the lug soles on hiking shoes and wading...
I just wouldn't worry about it. You will be stopping to gas up, changing speed for slower traffic and, like TrailWhale said, perhaps taking some sightseeing diversions, all of which will distinguish your trip from (e.g.) and OTR trucker's monotonous slog. Besides, 1,000 miles is not a magic...
I like the width of the running boards and wouldn't want them any narrower (or wider). I can comforrtably stand on it as I get in and out of the car. We're in our early 70s and have no probem getting in and out. My buddy has an FE with rock rails and I wouldn't trade for any amount of money. The...
For me, two guys in particular stand out.
I was leaving Costco and stopped for a guy walking across the parking lot. He turned and stood there staring, then approached and said, "Is that the new Land Cruiser? How is it?" I told him and he said (shouted, really), "That is sick, dude. That is so...
Mine came without BSMs. I just ordered color-matched ones from the dealer. When I picked them up, the parts guys printed out installation instructions. Easy peasy.
I've had a number of Toyota hybrids over the years and have hung out on their message boards. What I've gleaned about the hybrid system is that the 12v battery brings the computers online. There are multiple computers, like 7, that need to be booted up. Once they're online, the big traction...
I've got 919 miles on my LCLC (roof rack on but cross bars removed, stock wheels and tires). Most miles are accumulated in going up into the mountains to fish, so a lot of highway miles and elevation changes. I use Costco premium gas and am consistently getting between 23.0 and 23.3 mpg from...
Icq, my LC is Wind Chill Pearl color, not Ice Cap. My color body side moldings wouldn't match your car. But, to answer your question, the part number for my BSMs (per the invoice) was PT29A-60240-31.
I'll take some photos and post them in a day or two. I think the BSMs add much-needed...
This doesn't show the wind chill pearl color very well . . . but it was a productive day of fly fishing! Can't wait to get back out there and take some pics with the newly-installed body side moldings.
Wow, so sorry to hear about this. I would've expected them to replace your engine and send the original one back to Japan for evaluation. (I thought that was how our throw-away economy worked these day. It's cheaper to run the engine factory an hour longer and have 300 extra engines on the shelf...
I got Body Side Moldings from Groove Toyota today and installed them. They look great and the color match is perfect. For some reason, the car color is listed as "Wind Chill Pearl" and the BSMs are listed as "Platinum White" but, nevertheless, the color is identical.
Got my Coverking mylar windshield sun screen today. It fits perfectly, just $35 from Costco online and that includes free UPS shipping. Costco's website said they'd be delivered in under a week but it actually took 2 weeks. No problem, though, as I plan on keeping this LC for a very long time..
Took mine off as soon as I got home from the dealer. Took 5 minutes. They aren't particularly heavy but it helps to have someone help you lift them off the roof.
They do cause a little wind noise and create a little drag so I'm glad to be rid of them. If anyone local to Denver wants them, let...
I bought a magnetic fender cover at Lowes a few years back. It would probably work for this purpose. Here's the link:

I saw a close-up image of the Toyota wheel locks and they said MCGARD on them. So yes, I should just call them. Oddly, when you go through the fitment guide on the McGard website, they don't show any applications for 2024 Toyotas. It's like Toyota doesn't exist.
Wheel Locks - Or rather, anti-theft lug nuts.
I found these on Amazon and think they are the right fit. Please let me know if they are . . . or aren't.

As far as I can tell from researching it on the...
