New from UK

Looks great

Those of you who have collected FEs

- did you get the boot mat that clips up to stop stuff falling out

- did you get a leather key cover

- does your vehicle have the brake controller on the right of the steering wheel like

mine doesn’t
No boot mat
No brake controller
No key cover

It’s weird how the vehicles differ across the countries - we get a panoramic roof and F77k all else

None of the above . Though I think the brake controller is needed for electric trailer brakes which I haven’t seen in the UK

Just came across this thread and forum as was wondering if any had been delivered in the UK yet and haven't seen any on the roads. I've come to the conclusion that Toyota Europe just isn't that interested in selling them. I'm not sure if this will change going forwards but perhaps it is to do with the car fleet emissions rules/EV mandates resulting in Toyota only wanting to sell few at high margins in order to avoid fines, especially given their lack of investment in EVs. Such a shame because rugged/reliable off road capable vehicles seem to be a dying breed in Europe. Anyway, enjoy your new vehicles and let's hope they change their minds in the future.

Congrats! Just looking through this thread, the pictures posted look great! Would love to see some of the lesser trims come to the UK/Europe in the future.

I see that some additional options/accessories are now available on the Toyota website:

Unfortunately, it is lacking photos of all the items.

Hi and welcome.
My thoughts exactly as I’ve had on order since June a invincible and was told September delivery and then later told “don’t know when maybe 12 months” and the impression I get is that Toyota UK don’t want to sell them even though they tell me they want to compete with Defender.
I still have mine on order with no delivery date and car less as I sold my 200 series V8 as soon as I put my order in.
I have a good contact at Toyota if anyone would like to email her and put some pressure on.

I also ordered an Invincible in June and the expected delivery date was September or October. The dealer phoned me recently to say it would be November. As we're now almost in November I thought I would see if there was any update as the vehicle tracker just says 'left the factory' and has said the same for some time. My dealer said that the expected arrival date was around the 15th November but they couldn't help me with the tracker not updating. I contacted UK Toyota customer services and they were extremely helpful. They will get their media team to investigate why my app isn't updating and more importantly, they told me the name of the ship that's transporting my vehicle and confirmed that it would arrive in the UK on the 15th with the dealership receiving it on the 22nd. Perhaps your vehicle will be in this next batch?

Europe mainland is supposed to get the mild hybrid in 2025. But am super happy we'll get the pure 2.8 diesel. So it possible to drive it on farm diesel when the war starts.

Who is your dealer if you don’t mind me asking ? Do you know if yours will be a MHEV or not ?

It's as fascinating as its sad that American's feels the price of the new LC250 is high. Europe always has been expensive. But not much beats the price gauging of northern Europe. Norway and Finland leading the extravaganza. Price for Finland STARTS at 124.778€ aka 135.624$. Yes, you read that right! The base model starting price for the LC250 is a freaking 135 thousand dollars!! Why? Greedy (greasy?) governments has their hand in the cookie jar aka taxation!

I think there's more to it than just added taxes. E.g. in the Netherlands the cruiser is listed at €185000. The defender is €90000. The defender is also €90000 in Finland. It seems like Toyota has gone completely berserk in Europe, hence my speculation as to whether Toyota in fact doesn't want to sell many in Europe due to fleet emissions/EV mandates.

It’s mad that they say we get it in 2025 but New Zealand have MHEV’s and so do Australia (except they have an embargo on them for some reason) I can’t see Toyota making non MHEV and MHEV at the same time especially in right hand drive models
