πŸ‘‹ Welcome to the new Land Cruiser Forum - Please post an introduction thread!

Hi all! Already finding great info here. Just got a FE in Meteor Shower a few weeks ago. I'm a car nut and go through cars every few years. Loved my 2020 Taco but hated the V6. Went up looking for info on the new 4Runner and ended up leaving with my LC.

San Antonio, TX area!

Hey everyone, thanks for all the great insight for our new LC. My wife and I put our name on a waiting list last August at our favorite Toyota dealership in western CO. Got a text in April that our allocation was on the ship and after all the transit time and hold we picked it up two weeks ago. Heritage Blue, Land Cruiser Edition with the Premium Package. Traded in our 2015 4Runner which was the 4th one we had owned. Night and day difference in driving for the better and the LC had all the safety features my wife wanted in her forever ride. I drive a 2022 Tundra and absolutely love it and have had no issues with it so far.

Here comes another 4Runner fan, excited to take delivery of my first Land Cruiser next Tuesday. I've had 2 4Runner Limiteds and have been waiting for a Cruiser option to hit my price range.
I'm excited for my LC trim Meteor Shower. I've spent hours in this forum researching wheel/tire info. I upgraded to 20" wheels BECAUSE the dealer told me the 20" would have a similar tread (a bit aggressive) as the 18". Apparently they were wrong. I'm hoping the Dunlops will be good enough - but there might be an tire upgrade in my future.
Glad to be a part of this community.

My name is Chris and I'm located in Maryland. I recently traded my 2014 Cement FJ Cruiser for a Underground Land Cruiser 250. I've already found a ton of useful information on the site. Thanks for having me.

Hi Everybody! Just bought a black 1958 I'm replacing an 07 FJ I've had since 09. 225K western NY miles and she was showing some wear. My 1958 will be a complete pavement princess, I just wanted another rock solid vehicle that I didn't need to worry about blizzards in. This looks like a very knowledgable community, glad to be here.

Hi All, I had a HDJ100 while living in Africa and even my wife loved it. It was a beast. Sadly, I couldn't bring it back into the states. Had to go back to my 2006 Prius. Slight difference between the two, but my Prius has been reliable. I plan to give it to my son when I get my LC. I can't wait to be in another LC and plan to keeping it forever.

Greetings from middle Tennessee! New owner of a base Land Cruiser. Previously owned an β€˜11 and β€˜20 200 series. This new platform is certainly different. Look forward to contributing.

Hi I've recently got a 2024 FE, my other vehicle is a 2019 Tundra, and my wife has a 2021 Alvon hybrid. Previously, we had a 1987 toyota Pickup, a 1994 a 2014 4runner, and my old 1994 triple locked Land Cruiser. I'm a retired power line worker, a USAF veteran, and been working on vehicles since I could hold a wrench.

New member here, have a β€˜97 LC and an β€˜81 FJ43, looking to add a 1958 model. But will be patient and can wait until the dealership price gauging comes down. Thinking a white one that could be wrapped in the same mustard yellow of my 43.
For now, looking to learn as much as I can from other owners and their experience
Found my truck, exact weird combination I wanted, and the numbers made sense. Amazing how different the pricing attitude for dealerships in the same town….

New owner of 2024 in the Landcruiser trim. Waiting for Westcott Designs pre-load collar lift to arrive and then installing 35" x 11.5" Toyo AT tires and Method 35 mm offset wheels. I like to hunt in California and AZ desert. About 500 miles in, concerned about the fuel economy thus far (yes I am installing bigger tires), best I have seen on highway was 22.9 mpg on one trip. Mostly getting around 20 mpg in town. Does seem to be improving as the engine breaks in.

Greetings from Georgia!
I purchased my LC about a month ago and love it! Driving it is reminiscent of driving my 1996 LC Prado TZ (3.0L DT). I had to leave it behind when I was reassigned from my base in the UK to Abilene, TX. I'm anxious to get it out in the country roads, especially out west (UT, AZ, NM, etc.), and do some camping and off-roading (nothing too hard core). Look forward to learning tips, tricks, know-how, and everything this community has to offer.

Cheers!

Hello, We bought a 2024 Land Cruiser (Heritage Blue/Black interior/trim with Prem Pkg) for my wife. We took it on a test drive and a pheasant flew out in front of us and we nailed it. We bought the LC anyway.
