White Paste on Moonroof

Does anybody know what is this white paste on the moon roof? I would guess this is for lubrication but I think give enough time it will become something black and greasy. I wonder where I can get this paste and include that in my routine maintenance to clean and reapply them?

Probably lithium grease. Is does turn black eventually. Just wipe it off an re-apply. Tons on Amazon or your local auto store or Home Depot.

Wow, that is a MESS! Came from Toyota like this? I am attempting to visualize exactly where this is on the vehicle. Please post another photo or two..

That is at the rail on the moon roof.

I have the same lubricant on my ‘21 Highlander. It has not turned black yet. I have not needed to reapply it either.
