So I haven’t even picked up my LC yet but I’ll have it next week. Wooooohoooo
But I was wondering about all the Nannie beeps and has anyone actually looked to see where the sensor or speaker is that sends out the beeps. I had a Grand Cherokee back in 2016 that would beep constantly when I had the fob in my pocket and left it running with the wife in the car to make a quick errand.
I ended up opening up the dash and found the the sensor that made the noise and simply removed it. Problem solved

So does the nannie beeps come from the speakers or behind the dash? Has anyone opened up the dash to find it ? I love new tech and will welcome it but not the beeps. I’d rather pull the speaker than turn all the safety items off.

The nannie beeps are highly configurable so you can selectively turn off the beeps as desired. Personally, a few of those nannie beeps seem useful to me, but many I have disabled.

Your mileage may vary. Objects in mirrors may be closer than they appear. Contents may have settled during shipment. Enjoy the new toy.

But correct me if I’m wrong if you turn off the beeps you turn off the function as well , correct? I like the pre-collision options I just wanna hear it beep all the time
