Does anyone know that ALL 290 units 1st edition are released in Canada? I am 2nd in line at my dealership, and I believe I am out of luck.....

My dealers hasnt arrived yet... but being kept by the owner.
Have your dealer check around for available FEs. The Trail Dust one I test drove last week was not sold yet. Dealer near Ottawa. A good dealer should be able to try & get one for you assuming their not all pre-sold.
Dealer is a car collector, I was told its going in the showroom beside his Fj40 of a similar color. Not being held to sell at a higher rate.
My dealer has one coming in, but not in yet. Sounds like most dealers will get one, some (about 30 dealers) will get 2.
I think I am out of luck then. I was supposed to be the first and I missed the call from my dealership, which made me 2nd in line.....
Even if not for resale it's still bulshit. Jumping to the front of the que based on your position at the expense of toyota customers is poor form. I'd name and shame and be writing to toyota canada to see their opinion on that behavior.
I consider it a perk of owning the dealership.. whether he actually had his name down first or not, something we will never know. I dont want an FE, so I could really care less. I assume owners take priority and keep cars quite often.. I think he has an LFA as well.
Congrats! I was hoping to get mine in time for my annual summer fishing trip with my buddy, but alas...
I just called my dealership, they have confirmed I will get my FE. They will get two FE, and I feel better now. On the other hand, I am going to miss my TRD PRO, and I will try to enjoy it as much as I can.
