👋 Welcome to the new Land Cruiser Forum - Please post an introduction thread!

Howdy!

A Toyota Fanatic for my entire life and probably getting ready to buy the "last" one, which needs to be a Land Cruiser..

Looking forward to tooling around the back roads of Colorado with something that's not a truck or a Sequoia..

See you on the trails..

RR

Welcome to the Jungle!

Good afternoon from the OBX. Posting the obligatory intro… I’ve been a Taco/4runner guy for a couple of decades now and finally pulled the trigger on a 2025 1958 in meteor shower. Just waiting on delivery…

I’m a retired Navy guy who is still getting used to going from being around hundreds of people, all the time, to normal life. Interested in any social aspects of this community (meets, gatherings, etc.)

I’ll be lurking, it all looks very well put together for such a young forum. Thanks!

New to the Land Cruiser ownership, but just took the leap from Tacoma World. I had 4 taco's and this is the first time in 25 years without a pickup truck. So far I love this truck (Except the darn horn). Looking forward to MODS, and learning more about this awesome mall cruiser! I haven't seen too many of these down here in Miami, and three closest dealerships only had half a dozen combined on the lot. Seen a bunch of the GS550's around but I thing the LC is much better. looking!

How you do, how you do. Former 5th Gen 4runner here from Sacramento Area. Just got my 1958 LC250 a few months ago.

Here's what's done so far to help me out of the Costco parking lot:
1. Collar lift - not sure which one, dealer installed
2. Method 305 wheels
3. Toyo Open Country Tires 285/75/17 - Currently making 15-16 mpg.
4. First edition Rack
5. Victory 4x4 external Molle panels
6. Wittle Wadder from Nashfabco
7. OEM Predator Steps

So far only 1 issue that was fixed. A rattle from right passenger side. Fixed by Folsom Lake Toyota. Some kind of heating pipe rubbing against firewall.

Hello All, new to the forum. Landcruiser fan, the LC is the last good jeep left in Ireland to do a bit of work. Had a 150 until its untimely demise in a head on collision late last year (not my fault). Only for its tough build we walked away from it, so couldnt turn my back on Landcruiser. Anyway been waiting since then for the new 250 to arrive in Ireland. Finally got it the other day so I'm on here for advice to make some mods to it.

Been really big in the rock crawler Jeep world for years, even had my Jeep featured with a four page article in JP Magazine before they went digital. My wife has been driving her 2019 TRD Pro 4Runner since new and still keeps it at our second home in Utah but really wanted a First Edition in Heritage blue for here

. Looked at couple in the greater Phoenix area but they were around $10K over sticker. NOT! Nationwide Auto Trader to the rescue and located one in Texas for sticker. One-way plane trip (she flies for free) to pick it up and drive it home. We both love it! I drive a 2022 F150 Limited and much prefer to drive the Land Cruiser.

We are both retired and trying to figure out what to do with life now.

New to the forum ... exploring the idea of a 2025 Land Cruiser. I live in Colorado. 75% of driving is on the road 25% is "curiosity" drives and fishing. Currently I drive a Rivian R1S, the wife doesn't like the extra time to charge on trips and the size ... so I'm exploring the Land Cruiser.

My wife has a 2025 Premium. Just turned 10K. She loved the look of the LC and GX and decided on LC mostly based on the interior choice. This is our first Toyota. I'm a Jeep guy so used to lurking on the forums. Signed up to see what's happening in LC land and see what in the world the deal is with the insane reverse brake squeal while reversing. You guys didn't disappoint. I've learned it's kind of a Toyota truck thing and there is at least some hope for a fix. Appreciate all the great information so far.
