So to put it simply... the JBL system is muddy and coming from my Genesis G70's Lexicon system... it's not good.

Removing door panels and listening to dash/door speakers next to one another you can hear how cheap the OEM JBL speakers are, super muddy and a static to all speakers. Infinity Reference speakers result in must clearer audio.

So having worked my way around the vehicle, I popped the liftgate panel enough to get photos of the connector to the 8" JBL sub and the thing is incredibly limp for an 8" sub. It can barely be felt in the door panel at all. Even at beyond comfortable volumes it is just a really sad subwoofer.

The 6x9s I installed in the front doors are boomier than the dedicated rear sub. (See attached photo). The magnets driving this "premium" system are tiny.

Edit: Before people ask:

Front Dash Corners: Infinity REF-4032CFX (4", they dropped in perfectly after removing two corner brackets)
Front Door 6x9s: Infinity REF697F
Rear Door 6s: (Will be Infinity REF607F)

Adapters & Harnesses:

Dash: Metra 72-8109
Front Door: Metra 82-8146 + Metra 72-8109

I don't know which harness works with that, I believe it's different from base vs premium. Mine (base) only has two wires and used the same adaptor as the door speakers. I'm guessing the JBL is a dual voice coil, thus the different connector. You could always use Taps if you can't find an adaptor. You will need an amp to get any bass out of that sub though. I ran into depth issues trying to fit a real sub in the tailgate. I abandonded trying to upgrade that sub and just left it and then installed a powered sub under the passenger seat. A JBL Nano ironically. Works good enough for me.

Tacotunes has adaptors for '24+ Tacomas' / '22+ Tundras' with the JBL system to add a sub. I'd bet the harness' are the same seeing as they're the same platform. I can tell you the Beatsonic bh10 harness does not work though. You'll get sound, but no volume control, so don't try that one.
