I’ve had mine since September and still refuse to drill into my LC. Have the plate in a silicone frame on the dash but would like to “install” it on the passenger side visor. Has anyone else done this? There is a product on Amazon (of course there is…) but I just wanted to check here before pulling the trigger on it.

EDIT: I should have stated that we like the front end without of plate. Visor options are what I’m looking for. Thanks!

I bought a Carbonio mount for my LC. It's not cheap - $139 - but, it's very well made and mounting is very easy. I do recommend this as a solid option if you don't want to drill into your front bumper.

Hi, please post a picture . A little difficult to visualize what you are planning. Thank you

Gorilla glue double side tape. Tape may not be the best option, but I've had it on there for 6 months with zero issues. No drilling. You just have to put a few layers on the top side to build it up.

I'd def check on what the state law is on mounting license plates.

Personally, I'm getting to the age where I no longer want to invite interactions with the boys in blue. In California', where I live, a bumper mounted license plate is required. I ignored this for years and dealt with the occasional stop and fine due to this. I'm no longer willing to do this because it gives any law enforcement officer a valid reason to pull you over at any time and put you through the wringer. To me it's just not worth it just because I don't like the look...
As having the plate in the passenger visor does not satisfy my state's requirements, I see it as pointless to display it in any other way. It's also not exactly an aesthetically pleasing look to display it as you propose. I personally prefer the look of the plate mounted centered in the front bumper.

Thanks. I’ve considered everything but your unsolicited personal taste.

FYI, California allows front vinyl sticker license plates now. No drilling required.
