Just curious if anyone has considered doing, or has done, an early transmission fluid change to see if there is any manufacturing debris left over. I am considering dropping the pan and filling up with some amsoil signature series transmission fluid as it really made a big difference on my older 05’ 4Runner’s 5 speed Aisin. Shifts were smoother and temps dropped a bit after changing out the WS for the amsoil fluid. I’ve noticed a few rough shifts, first to second or second to first, from time to time. Typically the rough shifts are at first start up when they do happen and are very rare but shifts smooth out completely after everything is warmed up.
