Anyone know the part number for the LC's TPMS?

I know they can be switched over from the stock wheels, but buying a second set would save a lot of hassle.

If you're looking for a set for winter wheels, I'm almost positive aftermarket ones can be recognized by the Toyota system (a lot cheaper). Most tire shops offer after market TPMS stems.

Saw this article at the taco forum. The LC should have the same on board tpms setup right?

As related to this topic : if I switch wheels and tires with someone as I’m looking to do when my LC with 20 inch wheels arrives in the next week or so, will each vehicle eventually register the new TPMS sensors that came from the other vehicle or do they have to be switched out?

if the sensors transmits at 315mhz your car will be able to detect them. I was able to program a 2nd set of wheels using autel sensors via the on board settings.

Do you happen to know the part number of the Autel sensors you used? Thanks!

Thanks! Did you need to have them programmed or cloned first or did they work straight out of the box and you just set them as a second set of wheels in the landcruiser settings and it figured them out?

Did they come with instructions with how to do this? or something that i can figure out in the onboard screen? Or other?
The process is standard with newer yotas using the onboard settings. I used the info i gathered from the manual, tundra forums, and youtube.

Hate to be redundant, but you assigned new IDs using only the onboard computer? Or did you use an Autel or other brand TPMS tool?

Used the autel device to assign the new IDs. Then used the onboard settings to add the sensors to the ecu.
Thanks for the answer! I'm overseas and I don't want to buy the $200+ device for basically a one time use, does anyone know any other TPMS that will work and come pre-programmed? Or is there any chance the Autel sensors will work without the device?

I didn't see an answer to the original question anywhere on the forum. When I searched Toyota parts with my VIN it looked like it was:

TRD Tacom Wheel Tpms
Part Number: PTR42-3507B

When I ordered that from Fred Anderson Toyota during their black Friday sale they said I needed to order this instead:

Valve Sub-Assy, Tire Pressure Monitor
Part Number: 42607-76020

I guess I'll find out when they get here?

I put Toyota TPMS sensors in my wheels. The sensors are pre-programmed from Toyota. Connecting the sensors was simple and straightforward following the instructions in the Owner's Manual (starting on p.559). I decided to use the OEM sensor to avoid any issues with programming or recognition of aftermarket sensors (some people have had issues with programming and connecting aftermarket sensors.) The Toyota sensors are made by Pacific.

100% correct that 42607-76020 is the correct part number. This is the part number I ordered and installed.

I have new 42607-76020 sensors in hand to be installed by Discount Tires Wednesday along with the 18" OEM FE wheels I bought from an owner who swapped them out immediately after delivery. I'm going with the Nitto Terra Grapplers G3.

I expect Discount Tires to know, but I'd also like to confirm; Do the sensors need to be 'turned on' or activated (I know they don't need to be configured) before install? Or do they work right out of the box? I know I'll need to pair them via the LC Settings config, but are they active right out of the box? Thanks!

One of the advantages of the OEM part is that it is preprogrammed. You'll work through the menu options, then drive around about 5 minutes and they should recognize automatically. Just be sure that you aren't close to any other cars/sensors when you are going through the ID process.
