Way better and very easy to install. Thanks for all the others posting photos and comments. Wanted to share the sound difference and the a few images. Love the $75 dollar, 15 minute upgrade! First video is the factory "meep-meep" then a size comparison of factory horn vs. Premium, placement and the second video is the sound of the new horn-much deeper, louder.

Thank you for posting the videos - hearing the difference is convincing me that this upgrade is a priority!

how difficult was the install?
did you have to remove anything major?
Very easy, remove the cover, remove the screws holding the horns in place, #12, disconnect the cable from the OEM horns, connect the new ones, screw in place. Replace cover

Welcome to the forum! Congratulations on your new rig. The before and after videos are helpful and convincing. Can you provide a link to where you purchased the new horns? I looked at a thread a few months ago and then searched on eBay. Maybe I am misremembering but I thought they cost around $110. At $75 bucks I have no more excuses not to do this.

Gotโ€™em on Amazon, photo attached.

I bought my Toyota Premium Horns the other week and just installed them today. They sounds so much better than the previous horns that come from the factory, highly recommend for such a simple and overall not too expensive quick mod.

One item I was going to note was pay attention to the location of where the horn cable goes in. In my 2025 LC if I am remember correctly the 500Hz went on the left side and the 400Hz went on the right which kept the 2 horn wire harness cables straight and the horns angled/pointing in the correct directions.

Overall, 15 minutes or less installation like others have mentioned here and I think another post. Really easy to do and the horns align without any issues to their proper brackets so that only suggestion I have to pay attention for. Now to go honk louder at people to stop starting at their phones while driving ;).

Edit/Update: The horns did their job very well in startling the driver in the car that decided to pull out in front of me from the Costco gas station exit while I was driving down the main road. Horn +1 // Other Drives 0 lol.

Yea.. I just ordered Miss Daisyโ€™s horn kit from the same seller.

Installed these today. Slightly fumbled getting the connector flange pointed straight up so they fit, but finally got the hang of it. Really takes 10 minutes, tops. Not sure why, but one horn did not work on initial install. Tinkered with the flange connection in the back and bit, and then it sang just fine. Such a big difference. What a wimpy OEM horn.
