No, but it sounds like a normal horn (in any other vehicle) rather than the meep, meep.any before and after sound comparison videos?
Thanks for your input on this simple switch. Got my replacement horns yesterday from Japan in less than a week(that's incredible). New horns sound great too.First upgrade for the LC FE. Why did Toyota give us such a cheap tin can horn? This 5-10 minute horn upgrade for 60-70 bucks is well worth the bother for a much better sound! One 12mm bolt holds each one in place. OEM Toyota Premium Horn shipped from Japan. What a difference!
I would if I hadn't already replaced it.Does anyone care to post a before/after video? Iโd really like to hear the difference.
Does anyone happen to know the part number for the push rivets? One of mine just went missing and another didnโt seem like it was up to being reused.Yepper, there are 8 push rivets, just push the center with your finger and it will depress about a 1/6", then remove the rivet and the panel will come off. then remove the wire connector and the 12mm bolt. Reverse for the install, before installing the rivets, push the center pin back up through the body until it is sticking out of the top (it'll be a loose fit see below), then place all 8 rivets into their holes and press the center pin flush with the body of the rivet.

@EOD Guy Yes those clips are PN 90467-07217 -- I got some at the local dealer and replaced my missing one. If you lose or break any replacing your horn, that's the part number you want.It might be 90467-07217 -- I'm going to pick some up and see.
