In the past I used an E load rated tire (285/70R/17) Duratrac on a 4Runner with a Super Charger and did a lot of camper towing. I now have a 2025 LC Premium 
and plan to swap out the stock tires for something in the range of (275/70R/18) so I can still fit a tire in the spare location. I'd like to go with a C load rating to try and keep my MPG somewhat reasonable when using as a daily driver.
Question: Do you think an E rated tire is a hard requirement for towing ? in my case my Camper( Boreas EOS-12) is 3700 Lbs dry.
