Tire Upgrade ?

I'll post more pics here on the forum. Sorry for the ramble.... Noob-Youtuber here.
All good. I'm just very hopeful there's enough space that it isn't a risk.

18x9, ET40 (ICON)
33/12.5/18 (SAILUN TERRAMAX RT)
O'Reilly 14M 1.5 Black Lug Nuts
Great fitment, still plenty of room everywhere. More evaluation being done, stay tune.

ENJOY!

Looks good! I’m curious to which works best on a non lifted, stock 18” rims. 275/70/18’s or 285’s? Wildpeak, KO’s or similar

No idea, size all down to personal preference and usage. I like mine fat and wide, so went with 33 / 12.5 / 18, width wise, should equivalent to 315. I ran 12.5 on all my trucks. 12.5 not recommended for stock rim though.

Tire wise, I've gone thru Goodyear Wrangler (RAM TRX), KO2 (Raptor R), & trying out Sailun Terramax RT right now on LC. So far all 3 are similar in driving comfort in city. Terramax is surprisingly good for the price, for one day of testing as of this minute.

Here are some more photos. Clearance wise, I was able to fit my hand into front & rear at full lock, either direction. At ET40 offset, fat tire pokes out just a bit (really depending on your angle), to my exact liking. Looks so mean from distance. City driving, I'm happy with this Sailun tire, road noise wise close to KO2. Aiming to go offroad in a week or two.

What do you guys think of the wheel style from ICON? I do like it, but I would love it if it was bronze color. Thoughts?

Those 12.50s look beefy! πŸ’ͺ

What's your plan for the GX550?

Westcott Designs already has 35-inch tires on a GX 550. I would assume the same +35mm wheel and tires would fit with the same modifications done to the Land Cruiser.
