Tire Upgrade ?

Method 703 wheels, 17" +35, Gloss Titanium
Falken WildPeak AT4W, LT255/80R17 (33")
Currently running the new tires at 39 PSI per Falken's Tables
The new wheel/tire combo gives me about 3/4" more clearance underneath than I had with the 265/60R20 tires.
I bought a set of Toyota TPMS sensors and had no issues connecting them (I'm keeping my 20" wheels and will switch out between the two sets depending on the time of year and whether or not I'm going off-road.)

It rides better on the roads with the stock tires. And, as ridiculous as this sounds, my wife actually likes it better with the 20" wheels (n). She's wrong, obviously. I'm not saying that's grounds for divorce, but it's gotta be close. :ROFLMAO:

Would you be willing to provide one more pic taken from the rear of the vehicle down the side so that I can gauge the offset of that wheel just a bit better?

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and just picked up a 1958. I hate the 245 tires and want to at least go to a more aggressive tire. Can you tell me if the higher trim tires, 265 70 R18 will fit my 1958 with the stock wheels without doing any mods to the suspension? I've had Costco and Discount tell me it would not work. Thanks
Confirmed a 275/70/18 will fit with stock suspension and wheels without modification. I would not want to go any wider with the stock wheel for fear of rubbing on the upper control arm.

 
Im done now. Found the right combo. 285 70 18's on 2024 Tacoma wheels. Toyo Open Country AT3's . I have the Westcott lift. No rubbing. Perfect.
love it. I think you have really hit the sweet spot of performance, fit, and look. That is of course subjective. But Im in.
 
Another Nitto Grappler G3 275/70-18 on factory rims. Now looks like a proper off-road capable LC vs those ridiculous street tires. Really like that they would fit in the spare tire carrier and were three peak winter rated. So far they ride great. Going on a trip this weekend so I’ll be able to assess miles per gallon difference but as long as it’s close, it’s pretty well worth the trade-off to me. Got them at Discount Tire.
