I recently swapped my tires and got aftermarket tpms sensors from discount tire. I'm able to see the tire pressure in the Toyota app, but not on my dash? Any ideas?

Do you mean you don't see the tire pressure screen at all, or the pressure is not reporting on the screen?

Its possible the app just reports whatever the last known reading was

When I first got my winter wheels and tires there was an issue and the new TPMS sensors were not initialized by the shop. This caused the display in the LC to show blank but the app reported the last reading, it showed on the app that the reading was from the day I got the new wheels installed.

Eventually I got it all straightened out and the LC screen showed a reading and the app updated it's readings to match. In my case it required correctly initializing the sensors then adding them to the LC via the menu then waiting a day for them to actually get picked up by the LC.

Yea my issue is a bit different, added some pics below. In the app, it's up to date every time I drive the vehicle. On the dash, I don't see tire pressure.

I have attempted to reset via the instructions on pg 561 and that actually made it worse, it never showed tire pressure on the dash, and it stopped showing updated pressure on the app. I returned to Discount and they reset and I started seeing it in the app again, but still not on the dash.

This sounds similar to my situation, what did you do to iron it out? Little worried about resetting via pg 561 instructions and losing them entirely again (see post above, tried that).

After my sensors were installed and properly initialized I followed the instructions on pg 561 for Registering ID Codes.

It was not immediate. I drove around for quite awhile with nothing showing. Then later when my son was using my LC the readings just showed up. Maybe my son needs to fly to you and drive yours 🀣
