I just crossed the 6K threshold and these are a few things I think Toyota forgot about in an 80K SUV.......

None of the knobs were gold plated.
There isn't an air replacement for the tires included at the 5K service.
A hot towel dispenser included.
No hand stitched leather floormats.
The lack of self-inflating tires.
Air suspension seats do not work in mine!
The fact that you actually have to use the steering wheel to drive.

Hopefully anyone who reads this realizes it's totally satire but man it's getting old reading about what's wrong with the LC and how it compares to this and that make of vehicle. In reality I would only truly like my LC more......... if it were free.

Here's to everyone who reads this, having a better day tomorrow than they did today!

Consider yourself lucky.

I just had the free 5K service, while traveling, and the idiot kid over inflated Miss Daisy’s Michelins, from 33 to 36+ PSI, among other things.

(I will do a write up of the service fiasco in Miss Daisy’s thread later. I am still too steamed about the negligent and crappy service that I got in Ocala, Fla, to write about it.)

This came at the perfect time, nice work. I'm almost embarrassed for all of these 'reviewers'. The same people that will be talking about the 'classic' 2024/2025 Land Cruiser platform in 10 years, and saying 'why didn't Toyota stick with their 2024 formula in the new 2034 Land Cruiser'. Lame.

There are some legitimate criticisms, the magnitude of which depend on how one uses their vehicle, but there are really no critical deal-breaker issues so far.

Don't mistake this as bias from someone who purchased the vehicle. I have no loyalty to Toyota or any hang ups about dumping the vehicle and going to buy something else if I wanted to. If it was underpowered or under-performing, it would be gone from my driveway. If someone just doesn't like it, that's perfectly fine, but the criticisms are FAR overblown and exaggerated.

By the way they did add gold-plated knobs and an espresso maker to the 2025 trim.

this is just like all these fools complaining on YT that a truck or an SUV is too expensive these days. They look at the most expensive trim @65K rather than the basic one @40K.
Plus, everyone is earning much more money today than 10 years ago, yes inflation.

Toyota forgot about the 6 cyl twin turbo charged engine.
A must have for me when it's offered in the upcoming upgraded Cruisers.

I wonder if they're trained to over-inflate like that... I know when I took delivery of my 1958, my tires were all inflated to around 38 psi.

That's funny, I just had my 5K done and they inflated all the tires to 36 psi............

Water bottle works. On long trips, I take my daughter's stuffed bear (with bean bag paws), tie it around the steering wheel on one side and voila, hands free driving till you have to pass someone.
