The sexiest and most function brush guard / front bumper

I knew about it before I selected out 2 the best function and sexiest products (shown in beginning of post).

The reasons I don’t like Rago because:
• Brush guard bolted to Bumper with small screws which is not strong enough and not thoughtful design
• Center front bumper got “busy lines /shapes” design and obvious shown their logo

All my criticizes are ONLY personal per my design taste and off-road experience.
We all have different options. Happy LC to all ;)

My apologies for assuming you didn’t know about it. I see what you mean about the small bolts. Good thing there’s options out there! All depends on how heavy duty you need it

I'm curious if any of the mini winch bumpers are available yet? The ones that just replace the lower part of the bumper. DV8 had a prototype and I thought a couple other companies were working on something similar. There's nothing on DV8's web page that I can find.

Attached is another great option for light / medium trail “hunters” for most people. I can see some pros /cons here:

• Low cost. Minimalist. Less dead weight / better fuel consumption. Maintain the OEM look. No bumper cuts / modifications. Had bar to attach the additional head lights. Urban friendly / everyday drive. Can be taken off in future. No permanent commitment.
• Minimum protection. No winch mount. No tow hood.

I am still in love with the 2 best combo bumper/ brush guards mentioned earlier. However, this option is on my table now ;)

Has anyone ordered this?
1. Would love to see more pics, installed
2. Interested to know if it prevents any OEM features from working (ie: blocks parking/cruise control sensors, etc)
3. Says pre-order for delivery in January - anyone that lives in NorCal get their hands on one early?

Another vote here for ARB. I had one on a Land Rover Discovery 2 with a winch. It was great! Outstanding build quality.

Looked and searched through all for the brush guard / front bumper…I found some (most are just so so stuffs), but here are 2 most functional and sexiest ones I like (as picky taste of designer and off-roader/overlander)
See attached photos

What do you guys think?
Really think the first option just fits the vehicle better, minus the attachment to the rock rails, which seems like overkill to me. Great look

Aussie "Roo" bars are the way to go. Had a TJM on my '91 Hi-Lux, and an ARB on both my '84 Geo Tracker and '05 Xterra. My son had a slight fender bender in the Nissan so the insurance co. paid most of the cost. So now I'm tempted to wait for the first deer collision and then get one fitted. I'm sure TJM (at least in Oz) used to offer aluminium models not so sure about ARB but that would go along way to avoid all that weight up front plus the hit on mileage.

I’m holding out I think 2025 will give us some more options. Look forward to seeing what these guys Backwoods Adventure Mods come up with. There 4 Runner front bumper is one of my favorite ones out there.

Even though I did pull out and share with our gang the sexiest and most functional full front bumper + brush guard, I finally chose DV8 center front bumper + 12,000 lbs winch. I just installed it to my rig (see attached photos)

The reasons:
Don’t want to add 200-250 lbs in front
Don’t want to do major cut to OEM front end
Enough protection/insurance for my use as my LC is not for rock crawler

Sweet build out. Hope to see this in person at the January LC 250 Rigs and Coffee meetup.

Rago has a lighter looking option.
Been looking at the Rago option for a while, but after going through the install guide, it seems like there is a lot of cutting involved.

Classy…yet down to business 👍

Do you have this?

Wondering how the lights are powered, where they're from, and if they're plugged into an aux switch

Just the brush guard. Not strong and protect the front end as steel bumper.
Any ACC lights can be powered and control by Auxbeam switch panel (search through Amazon) or similar system

I chose and installed dv8 center front steel bumper

After an extensive search, I think I found my perfect set up for the LC. I skipped the first edition and opted for the Armageddon edition. I plan to have the trails all to myself! Still trying to figure out how to install the 50 caliber on the roof. I’m hopeful ARB doesn’t beat me to the punch on a patent application.
