95 80 series 1hz
Hey guys, not sure if this is the right thread oh well. Got a 95 model 1hz 80 series that doesn’t have a tacho, I’m wondering if I can just slap in a gauge cluster that has one and have it plug right in and work or if there’s dicking around to be done. I can drive it fine without one but it would be nice to know where my revs are at as the engine screaming in 5th at 100 has me a bit worried I’m borderline redlining it, any info would be great

To answer your question, most older tachs are receiving an input from the distributor so there will be a wire involved (I don't know about the 95 year model)

Probably get better results on the older forum.....
