Simple Question: Falken WP or KO3's for smoothest ride?

Getting new rubber on my rig.
Going with 265/70/18s.
Narrowed down to: Falken WP A/T4 - or - BF Goodrich KO3.

Have run the Falkens on my 4Runner and like them. Any reason to switch to KO3?
Thanks in advance for your humble opinions!
Have run both of those and found the Toyo AT3 the quietest

Pictures please? What size?
265s. This is the only photo I have at the moment.

The Falcons look great. My concern is about the weight. 15lbs heavier than the Toyos in the size I'm looking at. I want the C rating, which limits choices.

Someone pointed out in another thread that tire weight matters matters less with a hybrid, as the additional rotational ebergy is partially recaptured. I thought that was a good insight. But a 65 lb tires still makes for a 100 lb wheel.

Something to consider is the Falken Wildpeaks have a history of dry rot issues. There was a recall for a small batch of tires but not sure if they have fixed the issue with dry rot yet. It appears they use a rubber that dries out and cracks within a few years

I can find 265/70R18 tires in a SL load and a 285/65R18 tire in SL load but no 275/70R18 in anything but E load for a Off Road A/T tire. Anyone know of a brand that makes a 275/70R18 A/T in a SL load?

It was a toss up but I decided with the AT4 since I could find it locally with the SL rating in 285/70. Riding smooth so far. Only complaint is the rear quarter panel gets a lot more debris on it but that is to be expected.

The very new (may not be available yet?) Nitto Terra Grappler G3 does. It looks like a very compelling option.

That's something. The only tires in that size and load I've found has been General Grabber A/TX and Grabber APT neither of which I have any knowledge of.
I have to say though that I never got a flat tire in the 10 years that I ran E load tires on my 4Runner.

I had the KO2’s on my F-150 and then I had AT4’s on my F150 up till I traded it in for the LC. I liked the AT4’s a lot - they seemed to do better on the hwy. Obviously can’t speak to the KO3’s but my vote is the AT4’s.

I've put 2500 miles on the AT4 (C rated) and don't have a problem with noise. When new I noticed the change in noise compared to stock. But now I don't notice at all. I'm sure I would be fine with KO3s too.

There aren’t many options, here’s a spreadsheet I’ve been keeping of options for stock size wheels:

General Grabber ATX has a 275/70/18 that is 33" and only 46 lbs I believe. Tread is copy of KO3's but they have good reviews and are light weight. They are triple peak snow flake. They also offer an E rated versioin

Yeah, I’ve been thinking about that tire. I don’t have any experience with them as I’ve only used Nitto, BFG and Coopers.
