My husband wants to put side molding on my new FE 2024 LC to help protect from door dings…I am not crazy about the look. Thoughts?

Maybe get wider rock rails instead? Those will also help protect from door dings (from cars at least, not so much other tall trucks/SUVs). For instance:

Well, I’m new to all this so unfortunately, I don’t know but I’m sure it’s funny

Im considering those as well. Anyone have a pic?
(My tacoma has those bigger/standard rock sliders and it does stop all cars from their doors hitting it)

I put them on mine the first week I purchased. Even though I fanatically park far from everything, it has saved me from a scrape already - I also added the predator step rail for my partially disabled daughter to climb in. Both work well in terms of protection and both are easily, very easily installed in less than an hour. Whereas Dealer will want upwards of $400 to install them.

No!!! Destroys the attractive slab sided design. Imagine putting big plastic strips on a classic 1961 Continental. Looks Pep Boys aftermarket. Put your foot down, lol.
