Seat Position Memory

Had a heck of a time getting the seat position stored. Apparently the dealer is supposed to reset the seat to enable position to be stored in memory . Came across this helpful note .

Yep. This frustrated me for about a week until I learned it needs to cycle through the extreme seat position ranges in order to reset the memory function.

I need to try this tomorrow. I've been frustrated because I kept programming the seat and then it would get out of whack and it wasn't right.

I’ve recently bought two Toyota’s from two dealers now, including the Land Cruiser snd neither had the memory seat initialized. I spent an hour trying to figure out the first one.
