I'm wanting to install roof rack and maybe front bumper .. First looking for Roof rack seen some that looked pretty good but the shipping cost was high and then the wait times .. What suggestion do you guys have .. PICS would be great also . Thanks

If you can wait, Wescott (and I am assuming others) will be having a Black Friday sale. I am waiting on that to add a side molle panel to mine. I went with Wescott because theirs was the cheapest and I received a Veterans discount also that helped offset the shipping. Even without the discount, theirs was the cheapest with shipping included at the time.

Installed Victory 4x4, 3/4 roof rack today. Really liking it.

Forgot to add pics. I added 1 molle panel when I ordered the rack to see if I liked it. Also wanted to see if there was excessive wind noise and there isn't so I'm ordering the passenger side panel when it goes on sale.

Westcott is light, stylish, and very reasonably priced. Lots of addons and of course compatible with the usual accessories. Install was easy.

The only negative point Iโ€™d give it is the sealant, and only Sherpa does that โ€œrightโ€ (aka idiot proof) in my opinion.

Would recommend

I went with the Victory short version. $742 plus $60 tax, free shipping. It was fifteen days (11 business days) from order to shipping notification. It arrived four days later. Consistent with their estimated lead time, in my thinking.

Installation was completely straight forward, following the video linked at Victory. My 1958 was rail-less, so it was very simple to pry off the two plastic covers per side, the gutter protector in between and remove the hardware. Fit of the rack was perfect*. All it takes is a 5/32โ€ hex, a 6 mm hex and an adjustable wrench with some anti-seize for the cross-bar bolts and RTV sealant for the roof mounts. About 2-3 hours of work.

Quality appears excellent although I have no direct point of reference. Also, since my planned use will be bikes/skiis/skybox and not tents and other heavy stuff I don't have expectations of super extreme toughness.

Sadly, it does not appear possible to easily adapt all of my legacy square tube Thule / round tube Yakima bike mounts to the slotted cross bars, but a cheap MUQZI mount works just fine.

I ordered two sets of t-slot bolts with it and then found that they'd included one set (4) in the hardware pack, so now I wish I'd just done one extra kit plus something else like the ring tie downs. It isn't mentioned anywhere as included so YMMV.

*In the event there is any remaining doubt, my rack had mounts that were laser cut with small GX550 logos. It's the same roofline and mounts on the two vehicles.
