rigid fog lights are both amber and white but I can't get them to go back to white. when I press the fog light button (they are turned on on the blinker stalk) it just turns off and the lights stay amber. pressing the button again brings back tghe amber indication on the dash and the light remains on.

1958 owner here but isn't there a button near the fuel door button to swtich the color?

The button by fuel door button just turns off and the lights stay amber. pressing the button again brings back the amber indication on the dash and the light remains on.

Sounds like your button is defective and you should bring it up with your dealership next time you are in for service.

It's been foggy here at nights with a valley inversion. Gave me an opportunity to play with the fog lights a bit. The button on the side should swap between amber and white. The button's LED indicator light is on when it is set to amber.

I might try some of these for my 1958 until there's a DIY on the Rigid fog light swap. I'm assuming they are sealed fog lights so we can't swap bulbs?

Ooohhhh. Have you installed these? I'm not following how theyre gettig them in white and amber

EDIT: I read the details (doh). I wonder if it stays on the color you choose with auto on/off headlights and fog lights

It looks like they work similar to an LED flashlight. Turn them on once, they are yellow. Turn them off and then turn them on again, and they are white. Turn them off and then turn them back on, yellow again.

I'd be interested in finding some that are just full time yellow. White fog lights have always been a bit contradictory to me.

Treasure Valley inversions really sucked when I was out there.
