Has anyone figured out how this works? User manual instructions suggest it's tied with the rear window washer, but that doesn't seem to be true.

I tried to figure it out when I first got it and then forgot about it. After driving some gravel roads I noticed when I was backing up that there was a different icon on the screen in reverse. I pressed it and it washes the camera. I'm not sure if it only comes up when the camera is dirty because I just went outside to take a picture of it for you and it wasn't there. I'll have to do some more playing around with it.

It's letter [O] in this picture. Like I said, it showed up when the camera was dirty.

I don't believe I have that button on screen in the 1958. Appreciate your input though!

That is a very handy option and very well thought out for the Land Cruiser.

Thank you for the instructions on how to find it. I likely would never have figured out where the button resides.

If anyone comes across this thread, my issue was likely because the car was brand new and the washer line was empty. After using the rear window washer a few more times, voila, the camera washer started working.

FYI, the camera washer is linked to the rear window washer on the 1958, per the manual.

Good news. I have found with Toyota in 99.722% of the cases, when I think a feature is not working properly/as designed, it turns out I am the one not operating the feature as designed.

Now when it comes to Land Rover/Range Rover, when I assumed I was not operating a feature properly, it always turned out it just didn't work.

Not sure if this string is where I should post this question/request but what the heck…
My wife’s FE was in the body shop—that’s another story—and I picked it up yesterday. In reverse the camera is showing some of the rear license plate and hitch cover, which I don’t recall seeing before the truck went in to the shop. The shop blew a fuse when a kid tried to jump start the truck and reversed the cables…yes if you can believe it. Wondering if that short could have affected the electronic angle of the camera. Before I get too neurotic could someone advise if they see the same in their (uninjured) FE. Couple photos of my screen attached. Thanks!

I have the lic plate in my view, but then again, I've had the battery disconnected so many times I lost count.
