If you lean the seat back to a comfortable position it levels out on mine

I thought my kids broke mine when I first saw mine like this. Turns out the seats needed to be reclined a tad bit more for the armrest to sit how it’s supposed to be.

Had same issue. I took it to the dealer and found out it's just the position of the right seat, just have to adjust it to a position that you would sit in normally

My JLU was the same way - it folded down a fixed distance, no matter how you adjusted the seats. It should be said though that the JLU back seats fully reclined didn't really change much.
