FYI for others: this is for the 1958 trim. You shouldn’t need to do this for the Land Cruiser trim, which already has the wires pre-routed.

I’m still not sure your question was answered. I think by all accounts I’ve read the wiring must be snaked through to the jack area connection point on all trim levels. Please correct me if I’m wrong!
