Pistol Safe/Holster

I'm considering a magnet mount that goes under the dashboard for mine...
I'm also in the same boat with a magnetic mount. This is nice, but a little too bulky and may be in the way of my leg. I also looked into We The People mount and too bulky there too.

I've been looking for ways to mount my firearm too. This looks interesting, but does it get in the way if I forward my seat. I'm very short.
I am 5’10” with short legs, a long torso and short freaking arms…I fairly close. There are several brackets that come with the car mounting kit. I have mine adjusted to a point that the seat almost touches the holster.

It attaches to the rail. Just loosen one seat bolt and slide it in, then tighten the seat bolt.

The mechanism is really smooth and super fast. Way faster and safer than appendix carrying from a sitting position.

More pics…
So it doesn’t look like you can, but wondering if the holster portion could be moved further down closer to the floor? Just curious because I’m using that location right now, but closer to the floor, to hold it while driving. It’s a bit visible through the driver side window even with my front windows tinted if I were to leave it behind. Seeing it that high up, I would assume you could see the grip and outline pretty well.

I thought about that brand but find it too think to where I want my firearm. Instead I opted for this and very happy.

I find a lot of these solutions are helpful while driving instead of appendix carry.

However, I still need to have some type of lock box where it's not visible when I'm not bringing it with me and leaving it in the car

Because I still need a lock box. I just opted for one of those instead of buying both a lock box and another pistol holder...

I'm sure having a handgun located where you have it is a faster draw than appendix, But I'm not sure by how much.. .

Thanks! The best show! I see you’re also in MD. Have yet to see anyone else in MD with the 250. See you around!
Yep. Annapolis. I've seen a few around. Pearl White, Black, Blue. if you have a lead on running boards locally, I'm looking for some! The 1958 doesn't come with them and my fam has trouble getting up in the LC.

Driver's side cargo area storage tray (right behind the 2nd row seat). I cut the bottom out of the tray, fabricated a 3/16" cold rolled steel box with a finger print lock. The OEM cargo floor flap covers it as if it were still just a tray.
Is there anything you can't do? 🤣 You're like MacGyver. That's amazing, thank you

Here is a picture from outside the window. Lighting isn’t perfect but it blends in to the trim nicely. Also a pic from the same area with the door open.

I suppose if you wanted it to be lower, it looks like you could customize by adding a couple threaded holes lower down.

Looks like the seat would hit it if moved forward enough

My "while driving" "L" shaped holder.......... (but on the driver's side...... works very well)
