Hello all. I am happy to find a forum on the 2024+ LC.
I purchased my LC in late September 2024 for my son and me. It has been a while since I had an off-road and snow-worthy vehicle. After a few bad instances of getting stuck during ski trips, I decided to buy a vehicle to help me out of challenging situations. Maybe the LC is overkill. I am a long-time Toyota owner and I currently have a 2012 Sequoia, but it is a two-wheel drive and miserable in adverse situations. My fault for not choosing the 4-wheel version. But it is so bad that I am not sure the four-wheel drive would have helped on that model. However, the Sequoia has 180k miles with no significant issues, which keeps me returning to Toyota. The Sequoia gets 13- 15 mpg, and I did not want another gas guzzler. The new LC seemed to fit my needs. The MPG range advertised on the new LC was 20 - 25, and while I knew I would not get the high side MPG, I have never experienced worse than the low end of any car I have purchased - until now. I see 15-16 mpg and must work at it to get that. I am disappointed. The car is a nice ride, with a solid feel and a quiet ride. When I drive it, I am reminded of how nice it is. But I feel like I was misled. If I had known, I might have purchased something else, like the Lexus GX550 with the V6 instead of the LC's complicated hybrid system. I am here on this forum mainly to get some insight from others as to their MPG, and if this is an issue for others.

Going through the same trauma of the temporary socker mom mobile as a temp until something better shows up. A new version FJ 40, or maybe a GX 550.
The GX 550s are hard to get due to the engine fiasco and impossible to get under 5k over MSRP, I won't pay it.
The Lexus is overpriced to start with.
The LCs aren't what they used to be, Toyota is smart and leveraging the old version name to the max, good for them.
Enjoy the vehicle for what it is. You are funding the research and way to the next economy. Climate change will never matter in the long game. People first then this planet are both doomed over time, nothing last forever.
But do enjoy the vehicle, they are fun. And that my friend is the end game.

Welcome HandyMan!

Sorry to hear the fuel economy on your LC has disappointed. Does the nature of your daily drive account for the poor numbers? I live at the top of Angeles Crest Hwy, just on the edge of the forest. My daily numbers average 16-18 mpg due to the steep hill, but on the level and with legal speeds on the Hwy I do get 23-25 mpg. I was a bit frustrated at first with the fuel economy, but I bought the LC for its off-roading capabilities where it has exceeded all expectations!

Welcome to the club. Yeah, I have never gotten close to the advertised MPG but I didn't buy a LC for mileage; I knew going in what it would be like. A couple of folks on the forum are working on extended range fuel tanks and I am looking forward to hearing how that goes as a solution to low range.

Thanks for the feedback. I live in a hilly area. I have to drive the flow of traffic, which is often higher than the posted speed limits on highways. That is why there is an MPG range, and in my experience, I would obtain the lowest MPG in the range provided, which is what I was expecting. I am happy with the performance, but the MPG is not represented accurately. It is misleading.
